Los Alamos Master Gardeners present “Bear Aware,” at 7 p.m. at Fuller Lodge. The talk will focus on the basics of co-existing with bears in a rural environment.
Los Alamos High School students report on the Power Shift 2011 Conference at 7 p.m. at Pajarito Environmental Education Center. Members of the LAHS Environmental Club will address the Los Alamos Sustainable Energy Network meeting. Socializing will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The Los Alamos Genealogical Association will have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. in Room 3 of the Mesa Public Library. Terry Bott and Stuart Nielson from the Family History Library will give a presentation on the indexing project for Northern New Mexico. There will be an election of officers. The public is invited.
