The Los Alamos Genealogical Association will meet 7 p.m. in room 3 at the Mesa Public Library in Los Alamos. Jamie Charles will speak about indexing and Ron Smith will share “a genealogical breakthrough by persistence” story. The public is invited. There will no meetings during June, July and August.


Artist reception for Meg Kremer’s New Work. 2 p.m., Mesa Public Library Art Gallery. Show opens to the public on June 3 and runs through June 29. 


The School of New Mexico Dance Theater presents the ninth annual spring recital New York, New York, 7 p.m. at the Duane W. Smith auditorium. Tickets are available in advance at Uli’s Cottontails, or at the door 45 minutes prior to performance times. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors and free for children age four and under. For more information call 920-9134. 


Los Alamos Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert 7 p.m., at Crossroads Bible Church. Free. 


Los Alamos Light Opera introductory Workshop for The Mystery of Edwin Drood, 1 p.m., at the Los Alamos Little Theatre Performing Arts Center, 1670 Nectar Street, losalamoslightopera.org.
