The Los Alamos High School Olions present their spring musical at 7 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday at Duane Smith Auditorium. Tickets are $14 for adults, $8 for seniors and students; and can be purchased at Otowi Station Book store or at the door.
Annual registration of boys graduating from K-fourth grades (5-10 years old) into the Cub Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America will be at 6:30 p.m. at Fire Station #4 on Diamond Drive, at the golf course. LAFD firefighters will give boys and their families tours of the fire trucks and the station. Parents can sign up in either White Rock from 6:30-8 p.m. April 24 or from 6:30-8 p.m. April 26. Registration fee is $18 for the remainder of 2012. Parents who can’t attend these events can contact Bill Blumenthal, membership chair at billblumenthal@comcast.net or 662-0467.
Rod Baker, patent attorney, will present “Changes to Patent Law and What It Might Mean to You,” at 6:30 p.m. at The Hive, 134 N.M. 4, White Rock.
Los Alamos Arts Council presents Guitars at the Lodge with the Rio Grande Guitar Quarter at 7 p.m. at Fuller Lodge. Cost is $15 or $10 for LAAC members and includes light refreshments.
