Celebrate the Albuquerque Wildlife Federation’s Centennial. 7 p.m. Join AWF Vice President Kristina Fisher and Projects Committee member Phil Carter at PEEC for a fun and informative walk down memory lane. The pair will talk about the group’s history, including showing exclusive photos and documents. They will also share information about current activities in ecological restoration across the state, including vital work being done in Valles Caldera National Preserve. Sierra Club Open Meeting. 7 p.m. at UNM-LA, building 200, room 220. Craig Martin presents “Fires, Floods, and Drought: The Past and Future of Los Alamos Trails.” Martin will review how rebuilding trails has enhanced the trail network. Join the Sierra Club to hear about the lessons of the past that are guiding future plans for continued improvement of individual trails and the multi-jurisdictional trail network on the east flanks of the Jemez Mountains.

Chamber of Commerce March Business Breakfast, with a presentation by the Los Alamos Beer Co-op. 
Beer Co-op Board member Micheline Devaurs will present the case for the Beer Co-op as viable economic development models throughout the country, and also bring us up to date on the funding model, progress, plans and concept for a Los Alamos tap room. 7:30 to 9 a.m. at UNM-LA Lecture Hall 2 in the student services building. Free to Chamber members, $10 for non-members. Breakfast Burritos and Coffee from Hot Rocks will be provided. No Beer.

The Mesa Public Library Film Series. “Ace in the Hole” 6:30 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room.

The meeting of Los Alamos Master Gardeners will be 7 p.m. at the White Rock Town Hall. The program will be “ Wild Flowers of Spring” by Terri Fox.

There will be a mandatory meeting for students going on the Washington, D.C. trip over spring break, 3 p.m. in the Los Alamos Middle School Media Center.
