Friends of the Shelter is sponsoring a Mobile Pet Adoption from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in front of the Smith’s Food and Drug in Los Alamos. Meet some wonderful shelter dogs and talk with volunteers about any of the cats or dogs currently at the shelter.

Los Alamos Co-op celebrates its three-year anniversary from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Co-op. Coined the “Tree Year” Anniversary, trees will be donated for help off-set carbon created by co-op operations. There also will be plenty of family-friendly activities. For more information call 695-1579.
