The Los Alamos Community Health Council is sponsoring the Leadership Connection Town Hall, an event from 5:30-7 p.m. at Fuller Lodge. The goal of the town hall is to report on key Los Alamos County health issues, trends and recommendations. Community leaders will give short presentations followed by questions and discussion. Local LACHC member agencies will have materials about resources and services in Los Alamos. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP to deborahfgill@gmail.com by Feb. 25.
This month the Los Alamos Community of Atheists will discuss the deconversion process. Discuss life after faith, tell your story, hear other people’s experiences. How are you recovering? Thinking of starting a business? Would you like to learn about what will be presented at Startup Weekend Santa Fe? Eric Renz-Whitmore, executive director of New Mexico Technology Council, will lead a session at The Hive during Thursday’s brown bag lunch. The brown bag will start at 11:30 a.m. and Renz-Whitmore will start his session at noon. There is no charge.
