A Love Stinks party for teens ages 13-18 will be from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Mesa Public Library.

The third of three Los Alamos Public Schools Long-Range Financial Planning community meetings will be from 6:30-8 p.m. at Aspen Elementary.

Poetry Gatherings will be at 6:30 p.m. in the Mesa Public Library’s upstairs rotunda.

The Los Alamos Genealogical Association will have its monthly meeting in Room 3 of the Mesa Public Library. They will discuss the influence of religion on their ancestors. The public is invited. For more information call Jodie Frye at 662-3381.
Friday
Sombrillo Rehab and Nursing Center is having its first Valentine’s Day Prom from 6-7:30 p.m. Donations of used-good condition prom-like dresses and men’s suit jackets are being sought. The residents will use all donations for this special night. Drop off donations to Sombrillo, attention Dixie Ortiz, manager of the activities department.
Saturday
The Valentine Coffeehouse, sponsored by the Los Alamos Arts Council, 7:30 p.m. at Fuller Lodge and includes dessert and a beverage. Music begins at 8:15 p.m. Tickets are available at CB Fox.
