“The Gardener’s Calendar” class with Martha Davis, will be from 7-9 p.m. at PEEC, 3540 Orange St. The class is an introduction to year round gardening activities. Pre-registration is required and costs $10 or $9 for members.

Wednesday
 The Summit Garden Club will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a luncheon at White Rock Baptist Church.  All members and former members are invited. For information and reservations, which need to be in by Jan. 26, call Dorothy Crawford at 672-3315.

The February Juvenile Justice Advisory board meeting is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. in Building #1, Camino Entrada, Pajarito Cliffs Site. Call 412-9371 for more information.

The first of three Los Alamos Public Schools Long-Range Financial Planning community meetings will be from 6:30-8 p.m. at Barranca Mesa Elementary.

A joint meeting of the Los Alamos Sustainable Energy and the Sierra Club, featuring Anna Hansen of Green Fire Times, will be at 7 p.m. in the Mesa Public Library. Green Fire Times spotlights initiatives that create positive impacts on climate change, energy independence and green job development.

The February meeting of the Master Gardeners will be at
7 p.m. at the White Rock Town Hall.
