Basketball teams hitting the road

Despite weather reports that suggest snow could be coming this weekend, there are still probably plenty of fans that will be willing to brave the elements to catch some basketball.Both the Los Alamos Hilltopper boys and girls squads will be on the road this weekend. The Los Alamos girls will travel to Albuquerque to compete in a tournament which starts tonight.Meanwhile, the Hilltopper boys will head up to the Farmington area for a set of games.Closer to home, Los Alamos’ ice hockey team has another pair of games scheduled at the ice rink.Also this weekend, wrestling fans can travel to Santa Fe to catch the Jaguar Invitational (see story at right) or to catch Los Alamos Middle School Hawk wrestling here.
