The local winners of the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest will head later this month to the district championship.
Los Alamos held its free throw contest Jan. 25. The contest was for girls and boys between the ages of 10-14.
In all, five boys and five girls will advance in the different age categories. Each contestant was given 15 free throws.
The winners at the district meet, which will be held at Peñasco High School, will advance to the state championship. That will be held March 28 in Albuquerque.
Here are the winners in the Los Alamos Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest:
