Basketball: No green shirts for sale tonight

Los Alamos High School's boys basketball program announced there will be no 'Topper Store at tonight's game between the Los Alamos Hilltoppers and the Española Valley Sundevils.

Team boosters announced last week there would be green shirts for sale at tonight's game - the C team game is set for 4 p.m., the junior varsity game for 5:30 p.m. and the varsity game for 7 p.m. - to help promote "Green Out Griffith."

But boosters said last night that the store won't be open. The school wants to keep the lobby of Griffith Gymnasium clear for the big crowd that is expected tonight.
