John (Jack) and Jonelle Sullivan celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 5 followed by a reception given by their children at Fuller Lodge on Aug. 8 and a three-week honeymoon in Hawaii. Jack, from Pittsburgh, and Jonelle, from Houston, met at Nyack College in Nyack, N.Y., where they graduated with degrees in Cross-Cultural Missions.  They were married in 1960 in Houston. Following graduation from the Wheaton College Graduate School of Theology in 1967, Jack pastored churches in Arkansas, Texas and Tennessee. In 1980 they moved to Los Alamos where he served as pastor of the Trinity Bible Church, (now the Crossroads Bible Church) until 1991. In 1991 he founded the Grace Vineyard Christian Fellowship, which he continues to pastor.  Jonelle has taught in both public and private schools in Illinois, Texas and Los Alamos. The Sullivans have two sons: John Jr. and Joseph; three daughters: Joni, Janice and Bethany; and seven grandchildren.
