We would like to thank everyone in our community who contributed in creating a wonderful morning for the children of our community at the Children’s Christmas Bazaar at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church during Winterfest on Dec. 4.
Thank you to everyone who donated items that were sold, people who baked and served pastries for the parents to enjoy, the many hands who wrapped at least 1,500 gifts in three hours, the elves who helped the children shop, greeters, the elves who set up the halls for sign-in, parents waiting area and the shopping area and especially the young people who helped, including the national Honor Society students from Los Alamos High School, the TOTH youth group and the TOTH choir.
Thanks also to KRSN for covering our event with an interview and announcements, the Los Alamos Monitor for including us in the “Be There” listings and an announcement needed for donations, Curves for Women and the Betty Ehart Senior Center for allowing us to put collection boxes at their locations.
This event truly takes a community like ours to make it a success.
Thank you all again, it was a fun day that will certainly make Christmas whimsical when parents, family and friends open their gifts.
