The Los Alamos Music Teachers Association will present a “Student Musicale” at 2 p.m. in the UNM-LA student center. Students will perform on piano, violin, guitar and double bass. The following students will perform: Mary Brug, Emma Burward-Kunde, Bethany Filer, Samantha Filer, Maria Jones, Sopahn Kellogg, Chase Kennard, Troy Makela, Aubrie Powell and Alexander Wang. These students are from the music studios of the following teachers: Charlene Cox-Clifton, Regina Doorn, Richard Hannemann, Juanita Madland, Frances Naffziger and Kay Newnam. The recital is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served following the performance.

Dec. 4

 The Children’s Christmas Bazaar will be from 9 a.m.-noon at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, 3900 Trinity Dr. The event is for children in Kindergarten-6th grade, who may purchase gifts for friends and family at reasonable prices and have them gift-wrapped.

The Los Alamos Geological Society presents its Earth Treasure Show from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 4 and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Masonic Temple, Canyon Road and 15th Street. The show will feature a silent auction, geode sawing, door prizes, kids craft, wheel of fortune, mineral ID, jewelry, fossils, books, food and more. Free admission.
