The Los Alamos Friends of the Shelter is hosting a special community presentation at 5:30 p.m. in Fuller Lodge. Tammy Feibelkorn, who chairs a state committee on this issue, will talk about The Link Between Animal Abuse and Human Violence, how the State of New Mexico is leading an effort to address this link, and what the community might consider doing in Los Alamos.
The Los Alamos ‘Teenth Thursday Shapenote Singing group will meet from 7–9 p.m. in the Chapel of Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to learn and a love of singing. For more information: 661-2666 or eclaire@vla.com.
