Sustainable energy talk

Los Alamos Sustainable Energy Network will meet at 7 p.m. tonight at the Pajarito Environmental Education Center. The November speaker will be David Vosgurgh, projects director at EnvironX.

LAFRW meeting

The Los Alamos FRW at

7 p.m. tonight will be held at Rosie Shalek’s home, 901 Circle Drive which is at 2500 Central. Chairman of the Los Alamos Republican Party Ron Dolin will speak about the 2010 elections and events. We will have a report on the NMFRW Biennial Convention held in Taos. The Christmas luncheon will be discussed along with the family the FRW will adopt for Christmas. LAGA monthly meeting

  The Los Alamos Genealogical Association will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. tonight in room 3 of the Mesa Public Library.  Discussion this month will be “Our Ancestors Westward Migration.” The public is invited.  For further information, call Jodie Frye at 662-3381. There will be no December meeting.

Don’t miss “Alice”

  Based on Lewis Carroll’s books, “Alice in Wonderland” and “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” New Mexico Dance Theater Performance Company will perform director Susan Baker-Dillingham’s newest original creation, “Alice” at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Duane W. Smith Auditorium. Advanced tickets will be available at Otowi Station Bookstore as of Oct. 29 and are $12 for adults, $8 for students and seniors, and children age 4 and younger are free.
