Oct. 19

9:41 a.m. – Shannon Corporation reported damage to equipment on the roof of its building at 1247 Central Ave. The estimated loss is $350.

12:52 p.m. – William Apgar, 23, of Los Alamos was arrested near 39th Street and Diamond Drive and charged with driving while license is suspended or revoked stemming from a prior DWI arrest. Apgar was issued a summons to appear in court.

5:36 p.m. – A 28-year-old Los Alamos man reported fraudulent charges to his credit card with the items purchased sent to an old address. The estimated loss is unknown at this time.

Oct. 20

1:06 a.m. – Tadg H. Woods, 52, of Los Alamos was arrested on 6th Street and charged with DWI.

Oct. 21

3:54 p.m. – Los Alamos National Security reported the theft of a small trailer from TA-3, Bldg. 29. The trailer is believed to have been taken sometime before Sept. 3. The estimated loss is $500.

Oct. 22

8:31 a.m. – A 31-year-old Los Alamos man reported the theft of cash from his unlocked employee locker at Fire Station 6. The estimated loss is $105.

1 p.m. – A 58-year-old Santa Fe man reported fraudulent checks were written in Albuquerque on his bank account. The estimated loss is $428.27.

Oct. 23

3:31 p.m. – Salvador Guzman-Villagomez, 20, of Espanola was arrested on 35th Street for an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction. Guzman-Villagomez was the passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation.

        

1:10 a.m. – William Lueder, 29, of White Rock was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance following the service of a search warrant at 102 Azure as a result of an investigation into an overdose patient at Los Alamos Medical Center.

8:20 p.m. – A 60-year-old Los Alamos woman reported her adult son’s bicycle stolen from the garage of a residence on Walnut Street. The estimated loss is $500.

Oct. 24

4:27 p.m. – Destiny Atkinson, 23, of Espanola was arrested by New Mexico State Police on an outstanding warrant and transported to the Los Alamos County Detention Facility.

1:59 p.m. – A 44-year-old Los Alamos man reported the license plate stolen from his vehicle sometime within the last several months. The estimated loss is $250.

11:30 p.m. – Two juveniles and one 18-year-old from Los Alamos were found experimenting with a chemical explosive device at the tennis courts on Canyon Road. The trio were released to their parents.

Oct. 25

12:34 p.m. – Robbin “Cisco” Wood, 31, of Los Alamos was arrested at 4171 Arkansas Ave., and charged with battery against a household member as a result of a domestic disturbance. Wood was issued a summons to appear in Magistrate Court.

9 p.m. – Melanie Maxey, 35, of Los Alamos was arrested at 650 San Ildefonso Road and charged with distribution of a controlled substance to a minor based on an investigation into the possible overdose of a juvenile female who had allegedly been given another person’s pain medication. Maxey was issued a summons to appear in Magistrate Court.

9 p.m. – Gayla Hastings, 49, of Los Alamos was arrested at 650 San Ildefonso Road and charged with distribution of a controlled substance to a minor based on an investigation into the possible overdose of a juvenile female who had allegedly been given another person’s pain medication. Hastings was issued a summons to appear in Magistrate Court.
