Come to Pajartio Environmental Education Center from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. for some spooky Halloween crafting fun. Kids ages 10 and up are invited to wear their costumes to PEEC for a free crafting party. We’ll turn plastic bags into cool pencil cases, tote bags and more. Bring a plain cotton T-shirt, if you’d like to make a shirt. Spooky snacks will be served. The free activities will be led by Emma Starrett for the Los Alamos High School and middle school Environmental Clubs. PEEC is located at 3540 Orange Street.
Maul of Horrors Haunted House, sponsored by For Kids Sake. Open from 6-11 p.m. and from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Oct. 25-29; 7 p.m.-midnight Oct. 30; and noon-7 p.m. Oct. 31. DeVargas Center, Santa Fe. For Kids Sake will also host El Pueblo Asylum, a haunted house and pumpkin patch in Española. The event will be located at the old El Pueblo Bank Building in the San Pedro Plaza. El Pueblo Asylum will run from 6-11 p.m. Oct. 28-30 and noon- 8 p.m. Oct. 31. Admission is $3 or $10 for a family four-pack. For more infomration call 577-3678.
