June 17

4:35 p.m. – A 51-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone broke a window on his property on Oppenheimer Drive. The estimated loss is $2,000.

5:10 p.m. – A 33-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that someone used her credit card without her authorization. The estimated loss is $300.

June 19

1:49 p.m. – A 74-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that a woman who came to her residence on Aztec Avenue to inquire about a vehicle purchase stole money from her wallet inside the residence. The estimated loss is $100.

4:11 p.m. – A 56-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone stole his personal property from his locker at the Aquatic Center on Canyon Road. The estimated loss is $15.

11:23 p.m. – A 21-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim of criminal sexual contact by force or coercion.

June 20

12:30 a.m. – Jack Worel, 66, of Los Alamos was charged with criminal sexual contact by force or coercion and issued a summons at 2025 East Jemez Road to appear in Magistrate Court.

9:19 p.m. – David Lujan, 29, of Los Alamos was arrested on N.M. 4 and charged with DWI and possession of marijuana following a traffic stop.

June 21

9:16 p.m. – UNM-LA reported an assault on the campus and vandalism to college property at 4000 University Dr. The estimated loss is $1,000.    

June 23

1:35 a.m. – Michael Linzey, 27, of Jemez Springs was arrested near Rose Street and Circle Drive and charged with DWI.

6:22 p.m. – A 29-year-old Jackson, Wyo., man reported that he and a friend locked their vehicle and went for a hike at the Valle Canyon trail head and when they returned a short time later they found their vehicle had been burglarized and personal property stolen. The estimated loss is $463.
