May 20

4:12 p.m. – Melquiades Cordova, 24, of Los Alamos was arrested on Aster Lane and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license based on a DWI conviction.

5 p.m. – Jose Ruelas, 23, of Los Alamos was served a district court warrant while already incarcerated in the Los Alamos Detention Center.

May 21

2:24 p.m. – A    46-year-old Los Alamos man reported someone stole the magnetic signs off his vehicle while it was parked in Central Park Square. The estimated loss is $150.

May 23

7:26 a.m. – Chinshan Inn at 124 Longview Dr., reported someone threw large rocks and broke the glass in the front door of the establishment and stole cash and a cash register from inside. The estimated loss is $600.

May 24

4:13 p.m. – A 21-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone stole his black 1987 Nissan Pathfinder, bearing New Mexico registration 106PWK, from the 600 block of 44th Street. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.

4:14 p.m. – Smith’s Food and Drug Centers reported being the victim of shoplifting at 535 Central Ave. The estimated loss is less than $100.

May 25

8:39 a.m. – Los Alamos County reported someone stole a trailer and other equipment from two separate county sites. The estimated loss is $27,000.    

May 26

6:14 p.m. – Renee Cata, 37, of San Juan Pueblo was arrested while working on a disabled vehicle on East Road after it was determined that she had an outstanding warrant from New Mexico State Police.

8:54 p.m. – Nicholas Naranjo, 19, of Los Alamos was arrested and charged with shoplifting at Smith’s Food and Drug Center, 535 Central Ave. following a brief search after he was observed shoplifting items and running from the scene. The estimated loss is less than $100.
