Enjoy “A Garden Festival”

  The School of New Mexico Dance Theater (NMDT), directed by Susan Baker-Dillingham, will present its sixth annual spring recital, “A Garden Festival” at 7 p.m. Friday at the Duane W. Smith Auditorium. Tickets may be purchased in advance at Uli’s Cottontails or at the door 45 minutes prior to performance time and cost $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors and children age 4 and younger are free.

Get a wrap, support seniors

  Knapp’s Wraps, located in the Shamrock Gas Station parking lot on Trinity Drive and Knecht Street, will donate 25 percent of its breakfast sales from 6:30-10:30 a.m.  Friday to the high school Senior Appreciation Night.

  Los Alamos Little Theatre presents the heartwarming musical “The Spitfire Grill” at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Performing Arts Center, 1670 Nectar St. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $10 for students and seniors and can be purchased at CB Fox and at the door. Mix it up

  Big M.A.C., the Middle School Activities Committee, will hold its annual Six-Sevies Mixer for sixth- and seventh- graders from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Pueblo Gym. Parent chaperones are needed. Please call to volunteer at 662-9412 or 672-1565. Big M.A.C. is sponsored by the Youth Activity Center, a program of the Los Alamos Family Council.

What’s better than pancakes?

  Kiwanis Club of Los Alamos will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 7-11 a.m. Saturday at the Betty Ehart Senior Center. The fee is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors citizens, or those older than age 60, as well as high school seniors, $4 for children age 4-11 and youth age 0-3 will be admitted for free. The proceeds will support various Kiwanis activities such as the Los Alamos Little League, Los Alamos High School Key Club, Los Alamos High School scholarship program, Los Alamos County Science Fair and the Youth Activity Center.
