Tuesday, dinner is on the Los Alamos High School baseball team. A pasta dinner will be served for $5 during the LAHS baseball team’s annual pasta dinner from 5-7 p.m. today at the Posse Shack on North Mesa. The meal includes pasta, bread, salad, dessert arnd a beverage. The funds raised will be used to pay for baseball uniforms, equipment and travel expenses.
Want to play soccer?
There will be a mandatory meeting for the Los Alamos High School boys soccer team at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sullivan Field. The meeting is open to all high school boys as well as those who are entering eighth-grade in the fall. An adult must accompany each potential player to the meeting. The UNM-LA advisory board will host a work session at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in room 214. Discussion items include the past mil levy election and strategies for gaining future support.
Sierra Club meeting
The Sierra Club will host a meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the upstairs meeting room at Mesa Public Library. The topic of the meeting will be Cerro Grande emergency management.
