April 8

7:56 p.m. – A 41-year-old Española man reported that someone stole a statue from his office at Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Technical Area 3. The estimated loss is $300.

4 p.m. – Raul Romero, 25, of Santa Fe was arrested following an investigation into a traffic crash on West Jemez Road and charged with driving on a suspended license due to a previous DWI.

11:55 p.m. – James Carpenter, 23, of Los Alamos was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation following an investigation into a noise disturbance on San Ildefonso Road.

April 12

10 a.m. – A 15-year-old Alcalde boy was arrested near 38th Street and Diamond Drive on an outstanding warrant and transported to the Santa Fe Juvenile Detention Center following an investigation into a report that he was driving a stolen vehicle.

11:20 a.m. – A 53-year-old Los Alamos man reported finding a broken window in his garage where it appeared someone tried to gain access. Nothing is reported missing. The estimated damage is $200.

April 13

4:51 – A 35-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone punctured a tire and damaged the paint on his vehicle parked in front of his residence on 9th Street. The estimated loss is less than $1,000.

9:37 p.m. – Esaul Salas, 59, of Los Alamos was charged with possession of marijuana and issued a criminal citation following a traffic stop on East Jemez Road.

April 14

1:27 p.m. – An employee reported someone stole work tools from a TA-15 worksite. The estimated loss is $400.

3 p.m. – A 30-year-old Los Alamos man reported the overnight theft of a laptop computer from inside his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in his carport on North Mesa. The estimated loss is $300.
