Zane Bennett Contemporary Art announces an exhibition and paintings by Michael Freitas Wood, titled, “Presentiment.” The exhibit will be up March 29-April 29 at 435 S. Guadalupe St. There will be a reception from 5-7 p.m. March 29.
Exhibits
“Amish Quilts” explores the origins and aesthetics of a tradition that has evolved in a changing world. Thirty-four quilts will be on view from the museum’s collection and from local collectors. The exhibit runs through Sept. 1.
Festivals
The Las Cruces Arts Fair will be March 15-17 at the Las Cruces Convention Center. The event begins at 5 p.m. March 15 and will include a cash bar. More than 100 artists from around the country bring their artistic wares to Las Cruces for this juried art fair. Artist demonstrations and lectures continue throughout the fair, as well as children’s art, computer-generated art, jewelry making and paper box decoration.
