Feb. 11
3:30 p.m. — Steve Trujillo, 43, of Alcalde was arrested by New Mexico State Police in Española on a Los Alamos Magistrate Court warrant.
Feb. 12
1:06 p.m. — Mesa Public Library reported damage to its property. The estimated loss is $500.
12 a.m. — A 13-year-old Los Alamos boy was one of three Los Alamos Middle School boys involved in damaging the window tint on a large window at Mesa Public Library and writing graffiti on a windowsill. He was referred to the juvenile probation officer and released to his parents.
6:14 p.m. — The mother of a 22-year-old Los Alamos man reported her son, currently away in the military, is the victim of unauthorized credit card accounts opened in his name.
10:41 p.m. — Frances Sanderson, 42, of Los Alamos was arrested and charged with battery against a household member following an investigation of a domestic disturbance.
Feb. 13
9:13 a.m. — Hill Diner reported a burglary of its business at 1315 Trinity Dr. The estimated loss is $1,563.59.
12:18 p.m. — Smith’s Food and Drug Centers, 535 Central Ave., reported receiving an altered prescription.
12:39 p.m. — Mindy Sparks, 34, of Los Alamos was arrested and charged with controlled substances prohibited following an investigation of an altered prescription.
3:04 p.m. — A 29-year-old Hernandez woman reported the tires on her vehicle slashed while parked in Smith’s parking lot at 535 Central Ave.
Feb. 16
11:49 p.m. — Garrett Katcher, 26, of Los Alamos was arrested on Arkansas Street and charged with DWI following a traffic stop.
Feb. 17
12:58 p.m. — Los Alamos National Laboratory reported the theft of a utility trailer from a vehicle repair shop on laboratory property. The estimated loss is $1,200.
6:41 p.m. — Stephen Behringer, 19, of Los Alamos was arrested near 36th Street and Ridgeway and charged with battery following an investigation into a disturbance in that area.
6:41 p.m. — Emma Keener, 18, of Los Alamos was charged with battery and issued a citation to appear in court following an investigation into a disturbance near 36th Street and Ridgeway.
9:10 p.m. — Steven Burgess, 57, of Grand Junction, Colo., was arrested and charged with battery against a household member following an investigation into a domestic disturbance.
