The League of Woman Voters and the American Association of University Women will sponsor the New Mexico Legislative Preview, Fuller Lodge at 7 p.m. Hear what our legislators have to say about the coming session. Marcela Diaz, of Somos Un Pueblo Unido, and Dick Mason of Health Action New Mexico will also speak. Refreshments start at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday

The League of Women Voters will have their monthly Lunch with a Leader at 11:40 a.m. at Mesa Public Library. The speaker will be Tom Ribe. He will discuss Los Alamos’ vulnerable power supply and give information about the Valles Caldera. To purchase a $10 lunch from the Los Alamos Co-op to eat during the talk, contact Karyl Ann Armbruster at 661-6605 or kaskacayman@gmail.com, by Jan. 8. The public is welcome to attend without ordering lunch.
