Program Director for Youth Activity Centers (YAC) Direct and manage youth programs for 3rd to 8th grade students. Accountable for operational, functional, and financial aspects of the program, including training and supervision of staff. Programs use the 40 Developmental Assets as a basis for teaching skills and resiliency to prepare students for life success. Full time with varied, sometimes irregular hours including occasional weekends; days routinely end at 6 p.m. Education: Master's degree in social services, counseling or related area. Experience: Five years' experience directly related to duties and responsibilities. Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and supervisory skills. Mandatory background check, and initial and possible random drug screens. Non-smokers only. Salary:$48,000-$53,000 DoE; Paid Time Off; possible allowance for health insurance.
